Sustainable product sales in the USA are projected to hit $150 billion by 2021 according to New York based Nielsen.  This includes ‘free-from’, clean, simple, sustainable and organic labels.  Furthermore, the study cites, 90% of millennials ages 21-34 are willing to pay more for products that contain environmentally friendly or sustainable ingredients.  In the same report,  another 86% of millennials would pay more for products with organic/natural ingredients.  If sustainability and healthy food choices is a focus in your business, be sure to tell your brands story – storytelling takes the top spot for 2020 trends.
