As restaurants shift their business models, food and how we experience it is changing too
One thing is for certain, the restaurant experience we once knew, will at least for quite awhile, not look the same. While establishments are approaching this in many different ways some common predictions are as follows:
- Hands free everything – doors, hand washing, toilet flushing, lights, trash, condiments, menu ordering etc
- Flexible seating – community tables will still exist but dividers will be installed to separate groups, patio’s where possible
- New dine-in floor plans, no touch ordering & payment systems, new takeout options, menu simplification, sku reduction and lots more!
