DIRECTIONS 1. Homemade buttermilk biscuits – honey buttered before and after cooking. 2. For the sausage patties, form thin rounds out of the ground sausage, use a seasoned mixture of cornstarch and flour for the dry breading, and buttermilk and hot sauce for the wet portion. 3. Bread sausage patties f rom dry mix, then into wet, and once again into dry mix. 4. Deep or shallow f ry 5-6 mins at 370°F flipping halfway. 5. For sausage gravy: cook sausage crumble in a hot pan to brown and cook through. Remove to bowl and leave fat behind. Add onions and butter unti l onions are cooked. Add f lour and cook for a few minutes to incorporate. Add chicken stock – simmer for 5-7 mins. Add sausage back with heavy cream, simmer, season with salt and pepper! 6. Put cheddar on bottom of bun - add sausage patty – gravy - f ried tater tots – gravy - sunny side egg - top bun!
