For those of us wishing we could travel & explore the culinary experiences the world has to offer, it’s comforting to know that flavour has the power to transport us through global tastes and adventurous mashups. And who best to give us these experiences but our favourite restaurants!
In fact Global Finds is one of the flavour themes cited by McCormicks 20th edition Flavour Forecast. In their report, North African dukkah (a simple mix of toasted nuts & seeds that can be customized to be salty, sweet or spicy) “can’t be stopped as there has been a 267% increase in US menu mentions of the spice since 2013.”
