Having a senior citizen friendly off premise platform could improve your business.  Older adults are an important demographic for restaurants for several reasons.  First, the percentage of the population that is over 65 is projected to more than double in the next 50 years and older adults typically have more disposable income.  A 2016 study by Cornell University found that seniors eat out more than their millennial counterparts.  What are they eating?

 

According to NPD, CREST YE February 2020, consumers aged 65+ over-index for many breakfast foods including Eggs, Hashbrowns, Toast, and Bacon.
